One of the first projects I had the pleasure of working on that helped me understand the importance of art in terms of marketing, problem-solving, and DE&I was this project. Through managing this project I found that the same techniques to manage engineering and technical projects could be used to manage more creative and artistic projects. I never considered myself an artist, but I found I had the project management skills to manage virtually any type of project. I also learned I had the soft skills and technical skills to be able to act as a liaison between artists, graphic designers, and creatives. As a result, I began testing out some of the techniques I learned in the technical world in the creative world and vice versa before learning I was really just doing DE&I work.
